Sunday, October 28th 2012 -- Theme Time Turf Club ~ Election!  Inaugural event: success in the body politic. Pocahontas County with Jack Klatt & the Cat Swingers, and Tree Party plus D.J. Lonesome Dave of Hymie's Records spun LP's from his Election themed play list. Russell Rathbun of the House of Mercy riffed on voter options including opting out.

At the Turf Club that night, Barack Obama was elected President. Both the Voter ID amendment and the Marriage amendment were voted down. Better: Saint Paul or Minneapolis? The cities actually tied in the Theme Time vote. Thanks to all who came and made it so fun. And to the cute gal who hit me by accident with the pinata stick, somehow you only knocked my glasses of my nose and I'm totally fine.
